Jersey Reds' home ground is to be renamed as part of an extended agreement with the club's lead sponsor Santander International. The Reds will play their first home match of the season at Stade Santander International against Doncaster Knights.

Santander International became the Reds' prime sponsor in 2016 and the local bank has now agreed to extend the three-year partnership by a further two seasons up to 2021. As well as naming rights to the ground, Santander International will also brand the supporters' marquee.

"We're thrilled that Santander International have looked to enhance their relationship with Jersey Reds as they go into their second season as our lead sponsor,” said Reds chairman Mark Morgan. "There's a really good fit between the two partners, and having support like this is vital for the club, and great for the Island.

James Pountney, managing director of Santander International said: "We're delighted with the results of sponsoring Jersey Reds in our first year as lead sponsor, so it was an easy decision to enhance our agreement as we approach our second season. We wish Jersey Reds every success in the coming season.”
