People and Jobs

We’ve estimated that there are 8,000 full-time jobs in rugby in the UK and Ireland. Many thousands more are employed on a part-time basis.

In this section we aim to monitor the major personnel moves and changes within the industry as well as provide an insight into the working lives of prominent individuals within the game of rugby.

The career moves of players and coaches are well documented elsewhere. However, we look behind the scenes at the make-up of committees and boards, the managers and commercial leaders in rugby organisations. We try not to overlook corporate partners and the growing service and supply sector to the sport including; lawyers, agents, consultants, sponsors, journalists and sports marketers.

Rugby Job of the Week
We also run a selection of relevant rugby job opportunities from our recruitment partner Global Sports Jobs from which we select our job of the week. This is also distributed via our weekly email news bulletin.
