We’ve estimated that there are 8,000 full-time jobs in rugby in the UK and Ireland. Many thousands more are employed on a part-time basis.

In this section we aim to monitor the major personnel moves and changes within the industry as well as provide an insight into the working lives of prominent individuals within the game of rugby.

The career moves of players and coaches are well documented elsewhere. However, we look behind the scenes at the make-up of committees and boards, the managers and commercial leaders in rugby organisations. We try not to overlook corporate partners and the growing service and supply sector to the sport including; lawyers, agents, consultants, sponsors, journalists and sports marketers.

Assistant Content Producer - The RFL

The Super League and RFL seek to appoint an Assistant Content Producer on a three month contract, to be based at our offices at Media City, Manchester. The successful candidate will work as part of the Super League/RFL Communications Team, to provide support in the build up to the 2016 Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford and through the 2016 Four Nations tournament across the UK.
